How It's Made – Rory's Bronze Factory

We weigh out Copper and Tin to make the Bronze mixture. We used 10% Tin and 90% Copper in this mix.

In order to pull contaminants out of the metal, Borax is added. Impurities bond to the Borax, and our molten metal becomes cleaner.

Carefully, the liquid Bronze is poured into my custom made Sword mold.

This is the sword as it comes out of the mold. It will need to be trimmed down, polished and sharpened.

Here are some finished swords we made. Any imperfect swords can be made into spearheads, or melted down.
